Direct cremation is a gentle and respectful option where your loved one is cremated shortly after their passing, without the formalities of a traditional funeral service.

Our direct cremation package covers everything with care and dignity, including transportation, necessary permits, the cremation process, and the return of ashes to your family.

How long does it take for Budget Cremation to collect my loved one?

The timing of collection will depend on where your loved one passes away. If they pass at home or in an aged care facility, we aim to be there within 2 hours. If they pass at a hospital, it will depend on when the hospital is ready to release them into our care. If your loved one is taken to the Coroner, we will need to wait until the Coroner has completed their enquiry. This may be more than a week, however our team frequently works with the Coroner and aims to expedite the process where possible.
